'All Things Considered' started out as just the name of an acoustic music session in a small, back-street boozer in Salford, the sort of relaxed, easy going place where singers and musicians, poets and raconteurs gather to chew the fat,

play a few tunes and generally put the world to rights. If there's an audience that's a welcome bonus.

Gradually it became apparent that the name fitted well with the way I looked at life; an odd mix of music,

history, tradition, creativity and a willingness to give things a try - after all, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

The result is this website - a place to come to exchange interesting ideas, make new contacts, explore new activities, sell, barter and share and generally put the world to rights.        Welcome to my world.   Martin Gittins     August 2016
